This piece focuses on our fellow subway riders we make assumptions about. While viewers form perceptions of the riders in these video portraits, voiceovers interrupt and give insight into who they are, conveying an attribute that may not have been visible to other riders on the train.
This sample of my 3 channel video installation looks into Italian American culture, stereotypes, and issues of identity that surround this diverse group of people. Installation consists of two video projections and one monitor.
This video installation is an attempt to recreate a feeling of earliest childhood memories by tuning into these glimpses with the use of brief images and sounds that capture a feeling of this nostalgia.

This video installation deals with recent in-your-face public breast-feeding which has fueled thought and discussion about appropriateness versus necessity. By using exaggerated visuals and forcing it upon viewers in tight public spaces, I attempt to trigger feelings of uneasiness and embarrassment as well as spark a debate about the topic.
